Hello! My name is Amelia Campbell and I am a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. I chose engineering because I like solving problems and thinking “outside the box” in order to change the world. I’m a self proclaimed tree hugger, and one day I hope to work towards making alternative fuels and energy sources practical in widespread applications. I am involved in Clemson’s Cooperative Education program and I work for ExxonMobil Corporation in Houston, Texas.
I enjoy traveling, and I’ve been to Europe, Japan, and all over the United States. My favorite activities include hiking, geocaching, and eating great local food. I move all over the country because of my Co-op experience through Clemson, but I can’t wait to settle down so I can finally adopt a cat. I’m taking several classes this summer to catch up from taking the spring semester off to work.
