Thank you letter

From professor Fishman,

You want your thank you letter to be very short, and to mention at least one specific thing you gained, so it would go something like this (within proper business correspondence format, of course.)

Thank you for meeting with me, and advising me how to prepare for my future career in political science. I especially appreciated the suggestion to obtain and publish a copy of my birth certificate before running for political office. I will definitely keep that in mind. I’ve also already contacted Speaker Pelosi, and she and I will be meeting next Wednesday.

I will keep in touch, as promised, and let you know when I am ready to graduate. Thanks again.
